![]() ![]() You're not modding the XD in the sense of modding a PSP or DS. If you have problems or brick when installing from SD you can use the RKBatchTool to reinstall. You won't lose any files copied to the XD's memory except for installed apps. ![]() The RkBatchTool method format the system partition and is a "clean" install. The SD card is an in-place upgrade and some apps are left over from the stock firmware. You can either flash the ROM by copying the *.img to the sd card and it'll ask you to update, or using the RKBatchTool and a USB cable. Ultimately the other versions are pointless. I've never experienced excessive heat with 1.8 and while your battery will drain faster you can play around with the CPU speed using Kernel Adiutor or SetCPU where you can set it to max or limit it to 1.6/1,4/etc. 3.4.7 I think is the latest version.įor max performance download the 1.8GHz version. The ROM version is what you're looking for and I believe that's under build number. ![]()
